In 2017, Dr. Jeri L. Wright, to right the wrongs done to her life, character, family’s life, and legacy, and to encourage potential authors to disallow others’ interpretations by telling their own story, founded 

wRighting Memories℠ A Publishing Company. The inaugural work was her first in a series of books, Preacher’s Daughter: A Journey Through the Pit … In the Presence of God, in which Jeri recounts her journey through the pit

 – the unjust legal system - as an innocent woman.

Jeri knew she had to “wRight” the wrong by telling her own story, and not allowing the narrative depicted by the media to further deconstruct her character or family legacy. In addition, Jeri knew many others who needed to tell their own story, especially those who found themselves fighting for their lives and clinging to their sanity. wRighting Memories℠ A Publishing Company was founded as a safe space to get stories in writing and change the trajectory of the authors’ legacies.

The wRighting Memories℠ staff gives consultation to authors and potential authors who would like guidance or an accountability partner in the publishing process. 

wRighting Memories℠ is also available for: obituary writing, biographies, ghost writing, dissertations, plays, etc., and editing! Whether wRighting your own story or telling the story of your loved ones’ life and legacy, let wRighting Memories℠ handle all of your writing and editorial needs.

wRighting Memories℠ A Publishing Company also has a line of greeting cards to encourage and support all, especially the justice-impacted. During the time of incarceration, receiving mail is such a vital part of maintaining one’s sanity, stability, and connection to the world beyond prison walls. These greeting cards serve as a source of hope for the recipient, whether behind prison walls or dealing with other forms of psychological prisons. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of these greeting cards helps defray the cost of familial connection via telephone, email system, and video visits, where applicable.
